A digital picture frame shows a rotating slideshow of photos, and most current models connect over WiFi so family can send pictures from a phone app. Screen size, resolution and storage matter most, along with which app you need to use.
The six frames below range from 10.1 inch touch screens to 15.6 inch displays. Specs come from each product’s listing page, and where a listing is thin or inconsistent we say so. We have not used these frames ourselves. App, privacy and memory claims are the makers’ own.

The 6 Best Digital Picture Frames
1. MaxAngel 10.1 Inch Frameo Digital Picture Frame
A 10.1 inch IPS touch screen frame at 1280 x 800 with 32 GB of built-in memory. Photos and short videos (up to 15 seconds) arrive through the free Frameo app. It stands on a table or hangs on a wall and rotates automatically. The color is classic black, and the frame is plastic with a corded power supply.
Suits: a shelf or side table. Strengths: a touch screen and 32 GB. Weaknesses: a plastic frame. Skip it if you want a real wood frame.

2. BIGASUO 15.6 Inch Frameo Digital Picture Frame
A large 1920 x 1080 touch screen frame with 64 GB of storage, about 15.4 by 9.6 inches and 3.2 pounds. It uses the Frameo app, takes SD cards and USB drives for extra storage and supports only 2.4 GHz WiFi.
Suits: a larger wall or sideboard. Strengths: a big screen and the most storage here. Weaknesses: 2.4 GHz WiFi only. Skip it if your home network is 5 GHz only.

3. TIKVITO 10.1 Inch Frameo Wood-Look Frame
A 10.1 inch touch screen frame with a 1280 x 800 display and 32 GB of memory. The title says wood, yet the listing gives the frame material as plastic, and the bullet text is nearly empty, so most details rest on the spec table. The warranty is stated as one year.
Suits: a Frameo setup with a wood-look finish. Strengths: 32 GB and a touch screen. Weaknesses: thin listing detail and a material mismatch. Skip it if you want clear details before ordering.

4. Aura 10 Inch Carver Digital Picture Frame
A 10.1 inch WiFi frame in Carver Black from Aura Home. The listing says photos and videos can be added through the free Aura app, email, text, iCloud and Google Photos, with no subscription fee. It has a touch screen and a one year warranty. The listing gives a WXGA resolution and a 16:9 ratio, and its size field (10.1 by 12.7 inches) does not match a 10.1 inch screen, so check the photos for the true outline.
Suits: a gift frame that looks like a framed print. Strengths: several ways to add photos. Weaknesses: storage is not stated and the size field is unclear. Skip it if you want a stated memory size.

A white 10.1 inch IPS frame at 1280 x 800 with 16 GB of built-in memory and a microSD slot (up to 32 GB extra). The listing sets it up for sharing photos and short videos (up to 15 seconds) through an app, and says it can be wall mounted. The control method is listed as app, even though the screen is a touch screen.
Suits: a white or light room. Strengths: a white finish and a microSD slot. Weaknesses: the least built-in memory here. Skip it if you plan to store lots of video.
