Arcade1Up makes home versions of classic coin-op cabinets with built-in game libraries, a color screen, real-feel joystick and buttons, and a plug-in power adapter. Most are about five feet tall and arrive flat-packed for assembly, while table and countertop styles take less room.

The six machines below include four full cabinets, a two-player table and a claw machine. Game counts, screen sizes and dimensions come from each listing page. We have not used these machines ourselves, and all game lists and online features are the maker’s own claims. Two listings contain conflicting size data, which we point out.

The 6 Best Arcade1Up Machines

1. Arcade1Up Pac-Man Deluxe Arcade

A deluxe cabinet with 14 games including Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, Pac-Land and Mappy, a 17 inch BOE color monitor, Wi-Fi leaderboards, a light-up marquee and a molded faux coin door. The bullets describe a cabinet over five feet tall at 22.44 by 18.82 by 61 inches, yet the detail table lists the form factor as Tabletop, which does not fit, so treat that field as an error.

Suits: a classic maze-game fan. Strengths: 14 games and leaderboards. Weaknesses: the listing contradicts itself on form factor. Skip it if you want a fighting game.

A 14 game deluxe cabinet featuring Mortal Kombat I to 3, Ultimate MK3 and titles such as Rampage, Paperboy and Gauntlet, with a 17 inch BOE monitor, dual speakers, Wi-Fi leaderboards and online multiplayer. It is listed at about 61 inches tall and 79.9 pounds.

Suits: two-player fighting games. Strengths: online multiplayer and a mixed library. Weaknesses: heavy and tall. Skip it if ceilings or floor space are tight.

3. Arcade1Up Atari Centipede Deluxe Arcade

A deluxe cabinet with 40 Atari games including Centipede, Asteroids, Crystal Castles, Millipede, Major Havoc and Missile Command, drawn from the Atari arcade and Atari 2600 libraries. It has a 17 inch full-color LCD and an arcade-style trackball, and measures 23.23 by 18.5 by 61.42 inches.

Suits: fans of Atari titles. Strengths: the largest library here and a trackball. Weaknesses: a single-player listing. Skip it if you want a joystick-only layout.

4. Arcade1Up Ms. Pac-Man Head-to-Head Arcade Table

A cocktail-style table with 12 games, two control panels, an illuminated control deck, a 17 inch color LCD, a speaker on each side and a clear protective top. It weighs 64.3 pounds. The sizes disagree: the bullets say 23.5 by 35.98 by 28.97 inches, while the detail table says 29.02 by 23.62 by 35.67 inches, so measure with the seller’s figures in hand.

Suits: sitting down for two-player rounds. Strengths: two panels and a table shape. Weaknesses: conflicting dimensions. Skip it if you want a standing cabinet.
